Alibaba Cloud introduces new products and pledges $1 billion to strengthen global partnerships.

Alibaba Cloud, also known as Aliyun, is a subsidiary of Alibaba Group that provides cloud computing services. Alibaba Cloud offers cloud computing services to online businesses as well as the Alibaba e-commerce ecosystem. Singapore is where its international operations are registered and headquartered. Alibaba Cloud provides a comprehensive set of cloud products and services for databases, networking, security, analytics and big data, domains and website management, application services, media services, middleware, and other applications.

Globally, the rate of cloud adoption among enterprises is increasing. As a result, more cloud service providers are developing cloud technology solutions to help businesses run more efficiently. This development coincides with Precedence Research's cloud market report, which revealed that the global cloud computing market is expected to reach $1.6 trillion by 2030.

With this trend in mind, it's no surprise that Alibaba Cloud, the world's third-largest public cloud provider according to Gartner, has announced the launch of a new series of cloud infrastructure products, including a multi-model cloud-native database and distributed cloud services. Aside from the new products, the Chinese cloud and e-commerce behemoth has pledged a $1 billion investment to strengthen its global alliances.

During the launch, Alibaba announced the release of Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) 2.0. It says that CEN 2.0 will bring large-scale networking features to enterprises, provide lower latency and reinforce security.

The ESSD Auto PL, a storage technology product designed to provide block storage services and automatic scaling that allows businesses to handle sudden traffic, is also on the list of products launched by Alibaba Cloud. In addition, to support cloud container services, Alibaba Cloud launched the ACK One Distributed Cloud Container Platform. This global and multi-cluster solution manages and operates containers for businesses. The ACK One is also designed to assist customers with data disaster recovery, resource scheduling, and application delivery via a unified platform, whether you're operating in a private, public, or on-premise cloud environment.

Alibaba Cloud also announced a partnership with the UMG Group in Myanmar to help drive the country's digital transformation, particularly in traditional industries. Furthermore, as part of its expansion into the Asian technological market, Alibaba Cloud has partnered with BeLive and VisionTech from Singapore, with the goal of supporting the country's media and Fintech services.

In another move beyond Asia, Alibaba Cloud announced a partnership with OnFinality, a blockchain infrastructure provider based in New Zealand. The collaboration aims to provide the firm with cloud computing capabilities as well as a strong global network for Web 3.0.

The $1 billion initiative by Alibaba Cloud reflects the company's commitment to technological innovation and will aid in its market expansion in the coming years. The company intends to support partners operating in various tech markets with a localized business collaboration model through the "Regional Accelerator" program.

Alibaba Cloud currently has approximately 11,000 global partners, including VMware, Fortinet, Salesforce, Neo4j, IBM, NVIDIA, Aryaka, Docker, and Red Hat.

In Gartner's 2021 market research, Alibaba Cloud trails both Microsoft and Amazon. The company hopes to expand its footprint to more regions in the coming years in order to remain a major player in the cloud market. While Alibaba Cloud has a 9.5% global market share, its announcement of a $1 billion support initiative and more regional collaborations may propel its fortunes in the cloud computing market even further.
